Quinn Invites Seniors to his 2021 Senior Expo
9/30/2021
MEDIA, PA – After a pandemic-related hiatus, Rep. Chris Quinn’s (R-Delaware) Senior Expo returns next Thursday, Oct. 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Penn State Brandywine, 25 Yearsley Mill Road in Media.

“I’m looking forward to hosting seniors next week,” said Quinn. “More than 30 exhibitors are scheduled to participate, including federal, state and local government agencies, non-profit organizations and companies, all with information on services and programs available to seniors.”

The Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans Outreach Van will be on hand, and seniors will be able to apply for the SEPTA Senior Key Card, which allows those age 65 and older to travel free on all SEPTA Transit routes.

There is no cost to attend nor RSVP required. Complimentary lunch will be provided for attendees who can also take advantage of on-site health screenings.

Per Penn State policy, masks will be required of all visitors regardless of vaccine status.

“It is a pleasure to provide this opportunity for seniors,” said Quinn. “A ‘one-stop-shop’ occasion like my Senior Expo makes it easy for attendees to get important information and register for programs for which people are eligible.”
